St Angelo future looking secureSt Angelo future looking secure
Tuesday, 2nd May 2006

The future of St Angelo Airport just outside Enniskillen is looking more secure since plans are in train for making it a base for an Air Ambulance service. The directors, Stephen Finlay and Alan Cathcart, are also confident that more jobs will be created at the airfield since they are also in negotiation with helicopter maintenance companies. Peter Quinn, a business consultant based in Enniskillen, was engaged by the district council to draw up a report on the potential of the airfield, and he was on hand when DUP Euro MP Jim Allister visited St Angelo recently. He had been invited with a view to receiving European Funding for the airport.
