RangersRangers' plans for land sale funds
Monday, 12th September 2005

Enniskillen Rangers Football Club has revealed plans for the £1m it received last year when it sold its home ground at Derrychara to the Tesco supermarket chain. The club has now applied for planning permission to develop an eighteen-acre site at Dooederny, three miles from the town near the junction of the Belcoo and Swanlinbar roads. The purchase of the site would be the first part of a five-phase plan which would include three pitches, changing facilities, a trail for joggers, walkers and cyclists, a training area and a five-a-side pitch. The club hopes that the complex will be complete in five years time.
