Familiar face opens craft fair
Wednesday, 29th December 2004

The official opening of the Christmas Craft Fair in the Clinton Centre in Enniskillen last week was performed by Tony Booth, who first became a household name for his part in "Till Death do us Part" and later became more famous as Cherie Blair's father. Now living near Blacklion with his wife, Steph, Tony visited all of the thirty stands and, remarking on the quality of the crafts on offer, deplored the lack of funding given to the arts. Before being located in the Clinton Centre the craft fair was held at the Town Hall but the event had to be moved when renovations were carried out at the Town Hall.
