Police appeal over Fermanagh crashPolice appeal over Fermanagh crash
Wednesday, 6th October 2004

Fermanagh police investigating a road traffic collision in which a young man died on Sunday night have issued a new appeal for witnesses.

Twenty-three-year-old Noel MacFarlane, from Maguiresbridge, was a rear seat passenger in a red Vauxhall Astra car that struck a telegraph pole at Rosscor, Belleek at about 9.20pm.

Police now believe that a couple from Belfast and a paramedic from the Republic assisted at the scene prior to the arrival of local officers.

Inspector Ian Kennedy said: "We would like to speak to these people, not only to see if they have any information that can help, but to properly thank them for their efforts."
