All Blacks still beyond Ireland

Ireland once again fell short of expectations at Croke Park this evening, being well beaten by The All Blacks. The scene was perfectly set, Croke Park filled to capacity, Ireland unbeaten under new coach Declan Kidney ( having got 1 win over Canada the week before ! ) and the raucous crowd screaming down the Haka before kick off.



That was as good as it got however, with New Zealand gradually upping the tempo throughout the match, deservedly going in 10-3 at half time with no danger of Ireland scoring. With a further 2 tries in the second half, The All Blacks won pulling up.



Once again, we rely on Munster on Tuesday evening to see if they can replicate their celebrated victory of 30 years ago...
