The Countdown has begun for this year's Sligo Live Festival 2007 which takes place over the October Bank Holiday from Wednesday 24th October – Monday 29th October. This six day Festival will be bigger and better than ever with acts like The Buena Vista Social Club™, Alabama 3, Dervish and Duke Special taking to the main stage.

Sligo Live Festival is Ireland's first volunteer-run festival on a large scale. The line-up is sure to entice any festival goer to the West of Ireland this Halloween.
The Buena Vista Social Club™, Alabama 3, Dervish, Duke Special, Beoga, At First Light, Prison Love, Tucan, Seamie O'Dowd, Tommy Peoples, Steve Cooney and Mary McPartland, Jon Kenny, Foy Vance and many more are some of the main stage and club performances at Sligo Live 2007.
There is fun lined up for all the family; with busking hot spots featuring buskers from around the country, The stunningly colourful Samhain Samba Parade from Cranmore, Free Face Painting, Animal Balloons, Laughter Yoga, Jugglers, Stilt Walkers, Street Theatre, Comedy including the outstanding Dave McSavage, The Galway Circus Project, Sligo Youth Theatre Circus, Puppets and Monsters, Door Dancing, Air Fiddle Competition, music and dancing on the streets and in Johnston's Court and Quayside.
